The subjects of my works are chosen from series of photos that are stored
and I imagine for each a role that has to be accomplish in the compositional structure. My pictorial
theme has a genuine support in the family archive. At first glance the people cannot know for sure
whether we are talking about photos of my family, but they are definitely family photos. I want to
use the memory as an element of newness and to integrate it to the present and future. Thereby
those combined elements activates each, taking each other colours and meanings. The painting
space becomes a stage in which the characters play together and also are dominating each other.
Images are rendered trough scenic „fade in“ into time-collages with utopian output. My paintings are
„time-collages with a utopian outcome.
