Sacred Circle

This sacred circle of ancient redwoods felt truly special to be in and to photograph. The perfect circle and symmetry achieved by the beautiful redwoods coupled with the wonderfully atmospheric misty morning came together to form a stunning photograph.

With my camera facing straight up, I had less than five minutes to take this image before the rain started up again. I am so grateful for this brief break in the middle of a pacific storm front that revealed such a magical moment.
